How to apply
Academic entry requirements. Students interested in applying must be registered at another university, studying an engineering or physical science discipline, and be achieving an equivalent of UK 2:2 (50%) or US GPA 2.7. First year students who do not yet have grades should provide a transcript confirming the modules they're enrolled on and an academic reference.
English language entry requirements
Students from majority English speaking countries do not need to provide an official English language qualification but must upload their most recent university transcript to confirm they are studying in English.
Students not from a majority English speaking country should have an English language level at IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, or equivalent to join (e.g. College English Test 6 with a score of 425 / Duolingo English test with an overall score of 105 and a minimum of 95 in each component).
We do not require you to provide an English test result with your application to demonstrate you meet the English language requirement.
If you do not provide an English test result, you accept responsibility for ensuring your English level is sufficient to fully engage with the programme. To get the most out of your experience you should have the confidence to communicate complex ideas and collaborate with international peers in an English-only environment.
Students from exchange partner universities can get confirmation from their home university of their English language level if they have been nominated by the university.
